Things Wrong with the World Today
ok, firstly. This is just some stuff i have to get off my chest or head or where ever it came from and these are just my opinions, you are entitled to your own, and when you have a website put them there. Anyhow, is anyone else tired of the "corporate" controled post modernistic world that we live in. I think during the 90's the world has begun to be shaped by TV and MNC's, they force images upon us that we see as normal, or as role models. Just say no to this. I came upon a realization while attending University, i began thinking why the fuck am i here?? and the only reason I could think of was, well i guess thats what people do after highschool. Now I know that I could just enter the working world and become one of the drones mindlessly slaving away at their job, i'll be there eventually university/college is just putting that off for a few years. But why is it that this is the process?? all I want is some kind of alternative life. Yet of all options in the world attaining the "American Dream" in the easiest way possible seems to me my only viable option. How will I accomplish that? become a rockstar. But even the rockstar life is not tottaly appealing to me, because then I would be turned into a pawn by the corporate world, just being an image that they apply falacies and lies. Things that I do not stand for. That brings about my next point, people getting places by using faked rebellion and angst. My most hated thing in the whole entire world, is when the corporations use the new alternative as their next marketing tool, we saw it with Lollapolloza and we will see it in any of the next big things. To everyone I say, find something you stand for, truely stand for. Kurt Cobain was the ultimate in fucking with the corporate world, he attained the status of rockstar, but before he could be used in a way that him and I despise, he took himself out of the picture, making it immoral to play with his "image." I am not supporting suicide or even promoting it as an option for anyone to take, but Kurt Cobain knew what he was doing and how it was the only way for him. But now just recently, with the release of the new Nirvana cd, the corporate world has evolved so far that they find no spirit sacred and are yet again marketing the rebel, Kurt Cobain. Yet, he did make a huge impact, buy maybe showing the world a glimpse of an alternate dream or the reality of the world they live in. Rebellion, Im scared to take that step myself, rebelling against what I deep down inside hate, turning into a corporate drone. Call me a hippocrit, yes, it is because i have lived in this culture that i despise so much, that many of the things that a pure version of me would hate, i find ingrained in me, thoughts, knowledge, dreams, hopes, aspirations, all of them put there by the inescapable corporations. I'm trying to escape.

Here is one of our good friend's page, it is more varied in content, but has the same anti-feminist theme going on. Dont take offence to his or our site, unless you are a female that fights for what is not right, and has no basis on which to base your conclusions.

Ryan's Rant About Pop Punkers
This Rant begins in the halls of my school. Walking down the halls of John Malland High School you observe many things. You see your basic jock. An arrogant fool who has no self esteam cause his coach makes fun of him at everyone turn. Then you see your preppy/valley girls who wake up at 5 in the morrning to look as fake as they do. Then farther down the line you get your hardcore goths. There are only 2 of them in my school but they stand out like a sore ass. They hate their family life so much they look for attention at school where no one likes them for reasons unknown. I have spoke to them a few times and they just scare the shit out of me. But that is another story entirely.
Walking on down you will next see those fucking pop punkers. They have taken what i used to have fun doing and they made it so every faggot and his dog does it. Me and my friends used to do the things we do and wear the things we wear to be different. Not to be one of those mindless drones who do what marketing tells them too. Then came Sum-41. They Make good music but they went too mainstream. Wristbands used to be somthing that says somthing about you as a person. Now everyone in my school wears them. Most of the people are wearing the same wristbands as everyone else. When you think of a "punk" you think of somone who listens to the music and knows what they are talking about if somone asks them who "Fat Mike" is. Well i saw one of our schools top honor students wearing a Volcom wristband. Now just becuase she was an honor student doesnt mean she cant like volcom, but.. SHE HAS NO IDEA WHAT IT WAS.
I went up to the girl and asked her what Volcom was. And she didnt know. So i asked "Why are you wearing that wristband?" and she said "because everyone else wears them so they are cool?" Right there i ripped off my wrist bands and threw them in the trash can.
I would have no problem if everyone wore wristbands, if they new what they stood for and if they new why they were wearing them.
Thank you for listening.
